WHAT IS STRESS MANAGEMENT?

"Stress management by process of relaxing with a Mental PDA" Daily 5 minutes program.
What is stress?
Stress is the way your body is responding to any kind of demand. It could be both good and bad experiences.
We all have this favourite stressed countenance when it comes to being stressed out, and naming all of them is of no use since it may also vary in different languages. But when it comes down to stress, I think that it is our way of work or even relaxation, that matter and triggers stress. Ever been stressed even when you're well relaxed and bored? I know I have.

stress is unavoidable in life, it is important to find ways to decrease and prevent stressful incidents and decrease negative reactions to stress. Here are some of the things that can be done by just remembering it, since life is basically a routine to follow like brushing your teeth or eating breakfast. You can do a few of them to manage stress in a longer span of time, but as they say-- every minute counts.

Managing time

Time management skills can allow you more time with your family and friends and possibly increase your performance and productivity. This will help reduce your stress.

To improve your time management:

Ø save time by focusing and concentrating, delegating, and scheduling time for yourself.
Ø  Keep a record of how you spend your time, including work, family, and leisure time.

EFFECTIVE WAYS FOR MANAGING ANXIETY

Learning anxiety management technique is the first step to overcoming it. Have you ever been in a situation that brought on sweats, rapid heartbeat and shortness of breath? You probably weren’t having a heart attack but an anxiety attack.  If you suffer from anxiety disorders.
Anxiety is characterized as extreme reactions to fearful situations.  When someone follows you into a dark alley, those anxious feelings of a racing heartbeat and sweaty palms gives way to heightened senses and a rush of adrenalin that can save your life.  This is the fight or flight syndrome.

In the case of frequent anxiety, the fearful feelings are dread of a particular situation and not the situation itself.  Getting caught in traffic can cause an anxiety attack over what might happen when you get to work late.  Starting a new job can bring on anxiety attacks.  You don’t know anyone and fear of that unknown can send you into a panic.

Everyone experiences panic or anxiety in small ways.  Like the fight or flight example, it can save your life.  In new situations, we get panicky but when the outcome we fear fails to materialize, the anxiety stops.  For someone with chronic anxiety, this is not the case.

Every situation that brings anxiety is not life-threatening.  More than likely it is an extremely stressful situation that has brought on the anxiety as a way of dealing with it.  Unchecked anxiety of this type can lead to depression.

If you suffer from anxiety attacks on occasion or a more frequent anxiety disorder, there are steps you can take to master anxiety management techniques. the following are the best anxiety management technique.

1. See a professional.  This is always a good first step to mange anxiety.  Self-diagnosis of any type of physical or mental stress condition is unwise and can be dangerous.  A professional psychologist can help you understand your anxiety and prescribe medication or other effective anxiety management.

2. Get a good night’s sleep.  During the sleep cycle, your body repairs itself.  You feel more rested after several hours of restorative sleep, reaching the REM stage.  Most people need eight hours a night which varies within an hour or two each way.

3. Exercise on a consistent basis.  Exercise helps you to use oxygen more efficiently.  It helps to get more oxygen to the brain.  It also increases focus which may help you see solutions to problems rather than simply worrying about them. This is one of my best anxiety management techniques which has been proven of all time.

4. Meditate.  Meditation is more than chanting mantras.  Yoga is an exercise that involves quieting the mind and controlling your breathing.  Simple mediation such as taking 5 minutes to clear your mind everyday can work wonders in managing of  anxiety.

5. Manage the worry.  When you feel your pulse start to quicken, count backwards from ten.  As you count, focus on the situation.  What has actually happened? Resist the urge to read anything more into the situation.

6. Don’t use alcohol.  You might think that the glass of wine is relaxing your tension but alcohol is a depressant.  In anxious situations you could rely too heavily on it and gain another problem in the process.

7. Find some relaxing activities.  Stress can rob you of your energy.  On a regular basis, do something you like such as gardening, painting, reading or listening to music.

Anxiety can come into your life at any time.  It’s normal.  When the anxiety becomes frequent you could be at risk for more serious conditions.  If you feel your anxiety is starting to take over your life or increasingly causing you problems, seek professional help immediately.  There is no need to suffer this terrible condition in silence. Following these simple steps and techniques of managing anxiety can make your life healthy.

HEALTHY CHOICES

While eating any kind of breakfast may be better than skipping, it’s important to make healthy choices. Soft drinks, sugary cereals, pastries, fried potatoes and high-fat meats are not a healthy way to go. These foods supply calories your body needs for energy but can be high in fat, cholesterol and sugar and low in vitamins, minerals and fiber. A balanced breakfast will give you the sustain and energy your body needs.
Try to eat a well-balanced breakfast high in complex carbohydrates, some protein and little fat. Whole-grain cereals and breads, non fat milk, yogurt, fruit and even eggs are good choices. These foods stay with you longer and give you the energy you need to make it through the morning. Many breakfast foods are high in simple sugars and can quickly leave you feeling hungry again.
CREATIVE SOLUTIONS
·         Make sure you wake up in time to fit in a good breakfast---10 to 15 minutes are all you need.

LIVING IN WEALTH OF HEALTH: HOW TO HEAL EMOTIONAL STRESS

HOW TO HEAL EMOTIONAL STRESS

The very tedious type of stress to adapt with and manage is emotional stress. Because, it is often self-created, it can emerge from nowhere and the stress caused by it only increases the emotional feelings. Therefore, as the emotional stress increases, the emotions get bad, increasing the emotional stress. Thus, the problem regenerates the cause and the problem gets worse.
Emotional stress does not arise from a sudden shock. It can also emerge from a total emotional strain that sums up to an heightening strain that prevents a person from thoughts about anything other than the problems that seem to have no solution. Then, as the stress increases, the mind is left in its own cocoon of stress that can only call attention to it, cutting the person off from the world outside. Thus, emotional stress can lead to detachment, segregation and inability to concentrate, fatigue, and even memory or brain problems.
Emotional stress is often triggered by a dramatic event that puts a person's nervous system under severe strain. This could be an event such as losing a loved one, seeing someone die, or being put into a life-threatening situation. An event like this can put serious strain on a person's mind and nerves and the incredible strain can cause changes in the way that the brain works. In fact, a severe emotional strain could even cause someone to suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder.
Unfortunately, emotional stress also increases moodiness,(the state of one’s feelings or well being) which can often make things worse. In fact, those attacks of emotional excess can turn emotional excess up to unbearable levels, leading to further attacks. Then, as these bouts of emotional stress keep adding up, it all becomes too much and the sufferer is left almost completely lost and alone in their own cycle of emotion that hammers incessantly at the brain causing more distress to the patients or bearer.
The following highlights the possible solutions of emotional problems;
